Be Prepared

September was National Preparedness Month. Were you able to do anything to feel more prepared? Here is a list of some things you can do to help prepare for a possible emergency:
- Did you take the opportunity to establish an emergency escape plan for your house-hold?
- Do you know what sort of items would be useful to have in an emergency kit?
- Did you check the batteries in your smoke detectors, and change them if they needed to be changed?
- Has it been a decade or more since you changed your smoke detectors (if so, you need to change them out for new ones)?
- Do you know how much water you need to have on hand in case of an emergency per person per day?
